Ofsted inspects and regulates schools in the UK to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and in education and skills for learners of all ages.
Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school. You can access this service by clicking the link above.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection was in December 2013 and our school was judged to be ‘Good’ in all areas of the Ofsted framework.
Previous to this our school was last inspected over 7 years ago in 2006. Between 2006 and 2013 the framework for inspecting schools has changed considerably and the criteria against which schools are judged is significantly different. It is not possible to compare the outcomes of the two inspections.
The report mentions that this inspection was carried out in response to two complaints made to OFSTED against the school. Both of these complaints were made prior to the current leadership. HMI asked the inspection team to follow up the concerns raised and concluded that they did not have any concerns.
We are incredibly pleased with our OFSTED report, which you can view by following the link below. All the areas identified in our inspection report for further development have been taken directly from our school improvement plan for this academic year.
The inspectors were very impressed with our children. They spoke with children from each class, looked at their books, talked to them about their learning as well as joining us in our whole school worship in church.
This is an exciting time for our school as the inspection affirms that we know our strengths and areas to improve well and have clearly identified our priorities.
We will always be striving to improve our school further.
Good, better, best. Never let it rest until your good is better and your better, best!
